Meanwhile, elsewhere on the island, a family’s peaceful boating trip is violently interrupted. Reuben Delgado and his daughter, stranded on the dock, watch in terror as something large and prehistoric stirs the water. The camera lingers on their faces, eyes locked on a monstrous arm rising from the depths—it’s a mutant, something never seen before, a terrifying hybrid of T-Rex and something even more monstrous. The creature’s roar shakes the dock, and the family runs, barely escaping as the mutant lumbers onto land, its mottled skin glistening in the jungle light.

Back in the jungle, Zora’s team regroups, shaken but determined. The jungle is alive with movement—raptors, sleek and deadly, stalk the undergrowth, their eyes glinting. Someone whispers, hoping it’s not raptors, but Loomis confirms the bad news, and the team prepares for a desperate fight. The camera follows them as they move cautiously, every rustle and snap of a twig ratcheting up the tension. They reach a clearing where the mutant dinosaur appears again, now revealed in full—a towering, terrifying presence, its roar echoing through the jungle. The storylines converge as the Delgado family, bruised and terrified, stumbles into Zora’s path. Reuben, protective of his daughter, clashes with Zora over the best way to survive, but they are forced to work together as the mutant and its relentless predators close in. The group finds temporary safety in a ruined research facility, but the mutant dinosaur presses the attack, smashing through walls and sending everyone scrambling. In the chaos, Zora’s leadership is tested—her past failures haunt her, but she rises to the challenge, rallying the team and the civilians to keep moving, to keep fighting.

A pivotal moment comes as the group attempts to reach an extraction point, but the mutant blocks their path. Reuben, driven by desperation to protect his daughter, sets a trap, luring the creature into a narrow ravine while Zora and Loomis prepare to make a stand. The battle is fierce—gunfire, roars, and the screech of the Quetzalcoatlus above as it joins the fray, creating a desperate, cinematic melee. Duncan, another team member, lights a flare, drawing the mutant’s attention just long enough for the others to escape. The camera lingers on the faces of the survivors—Reuben, his daughter, Zora, Loomis—as they realize the cost of their escape and the magnitude of what they’ve faced.

Finally, with dawn breaking, the team reaches the safety of a waiting aircraft, clutching the precious DNA samples. Zora looks back at the island, her face a mixture of exhaustion and resolve. The journey is not over—worldwide, dinosaurs still struggle, and the threat is real—but for now, the survivors have a chance.
