The three siblings, Tiana, Tionne, and Tanika, are hiding the dark and terrible secret of their mother Jackie’s disappearance. They are determined to keep this truth from the authorities and anyone else to stay together as a family.

The siblings face various problems due to their mother Jackie’s disappearance. They try to maintain normalcy by hiding the truth, dealing with their estranged father Leo who wants Jackie to sign divorce papers, and handling their teacher Miss Jenkins’ concerns. They also get unexpected help from Jackie’s drug dealer, Dr Feelgood, and enlist a character called ‘Fake Jackie’ to pose as their mother to keep others from discovering the truth.

Dr Feelgood, Jackie’s drug dealer, unexpectedly helps the siblings by supporting their efforts to keep the family together. Together with Dr Feelgood, they bring in ‘Fake Jackie’, a person who impersonates their mother to appease the concerns of their teacher and others, helping to conceal the mother’s disappearance.

Tiana struggles to keep their regular lives afloat, Tionne displaces his grief in his own way, and Tanika tries to convince her teacher Miss Jenkins to adopt them. Each sibling deals with the situation differently while trying to maintain their family unit.
