Their son needs a liver transplant and Nana, who’s related to Fangqi, is a potential donor. Fangqi plans to coerce Nana into donating her liver when they are in the US. Fangqi denies the claim at first, then begs Nana to save her son’s life. A shocked Nana walks away.
