What is the ending?
Sunraku and the bunnies defeat the Humming Lich boss after a fierce battle using a holy weapon, with Bilac delivering the final blow. Sunraku then parts ways with Bilac and Emul, heading alone to challenge the Crystal in the Canyon of Ancient Souls.
The party of Sunraku, Bilac, and Emul, riding on Emul's back, walks through the foggy area until they reach a strange black dome where the mist thickens and the Humming Lich boss appears, humming ominously with its skeletal chorus. Sunraku rushes forward to attack the Lich, but his strikes do nothing because it curses players and requires a holy attribute weapon, which they lack. Bilac suggests an idea and throws the Dullahan's Decapitator, a holy attribute weapon, to Sunraku, who can only use it eight times. Sunraku experiments by attacking clones, discovering by accident when one clone hits the main body that all clones share the same low HP pool. To execute his plan, Sunraku throws Bilac far away for safety and runs with Emul on his back toward the Lich. He maneuvers to pierce the Lich's neck with the holy sword, but the attack does not kill it, just as he anticipated might happen. At that moment, Bilac arrives and strikes the embedded holy weapon with her own sword, annihilating the monster completely. Right after, Emul suddenly falls and hits his head, leaving Sunraku with only one HP as the boss is defeated and the miasma begins to dissipate from the area. With the Humming Lich vanquished, the group proceeds to the next city, Eold, where Sunraku sets a new respawn point. There, he bids farewell to Bilac and Emul, as Bilac needs to repair the holy weapon and Emul would stand out too much in the city. Before parting, the bunnies warn Sunraku not to be reckless. As the door to Rabusa closes behind Bilac and Emul, Sunraku laughs to himself, clearly planning to be reckless anyway. He buys some carrots for Emul as a gift, then returns alone to the Canyon of Ancient Souls, intending to fight the Crystal boss. Sunraku survives the battle with one HP remaining and continues adventuring solo, while Bilac and Emul return safely to their home in Rabusa to rest and repair equipment.

What is the strategy used to defeat the Chorus of Skeletons boss?
In episode 23 of Shangri-La Frontier Season 1, the party battles the undead-themed Chorus of Skeletons boss. They protect Rock from its attacks while Bilac uses a sword from the previous foul, combined with holy water, to deal holy damage despite lacking holy affinity, enabling them to defeat it as described in the review transcript and forum discussions. Sunraku employs a sneaky idea with the Decapitator's special trait, which deals extra damage to the head or neck area, crucial for his victory plan.
How does Bilac contribute to the fight against the skeleton boss?
Bilac picks up the sword given from the last foul and uses holy water to perform a holy job against the Chorus of Skeletons, doing her best despite having low holy affinity and only using eight percent effectiveness, as detailed in the episode review. This allows the team to defeat the boss lacking direct holy capabilities.
Why does Sunraku decide to explore alone after the battle?
After defeating the boss and heading to Eightfold town to repair the sword, Bilac and Emul take a break and return home, but Sunraku chooses not to join, claiming he wants to look around the area despite his promise not to stand out, especially suspiciously with rabbit companions and carrots.
What is the significance of the Decapitator weapon in Sunraku's plan?
The Decapitator's special trait deals extra damage to the head, though forum users note it effectively targets the neck, making Sunraku's decapitation strategy against the skeleton boss viable where other plans would fail.
What happens with Emul and the rabbit Loki reference after the fight?
Post-battle, Bilac calls a mischievous rabbit companion 'Loki,' fitting the stereotype but clarifying rabbits don't eat carrots; Sunraku avoids traveling with the bunnies to not stand out suspiciously while they head back. Sunraku then fights crystal scorpions alone.
