In episode 10 of Chained Soldier season 1, 'War, Naon, Recite,' Naon Yuno, who once worked in the Mato Industry in Japan, became stranded in Mato and ate a Mato peach. Unlike others who gained powers, it malfunctioned for her, transforming her into a humanoid Shuuki, and she was subsequently treated as a lab rat in experiments by a mysterious facility.

Shikoku is introduced as another humanoid Shuuki and the true antagonist in episode 10, poised to launch her first strike against the ongoing conflict, escalating the threat beyond the immediate battle between the humanoid Shuuki and the Demon Defense Force.

Aoba Wakura, Naon Yuno, and Koko Zenibako plan a rebellion after learning the truth about Mato peaches transforming people like Yuuki's sister into Shuuki and the torturous experiments they endured in a facility, positioning the Demon Defense Force as the obstacle silencing them.

Yuuki attempts to explain the situation to Aoba and the others, but his efforts fail to prevent the massive battle between the humanoid Shuuki and the Demon Defense Force, leaving him unable to single-handedly resolve the crisis.

The humanoid Shuuki, including Aoba, Naon, and Koko, prove the toughest opponents yet for the 7th Squadron, especially as they deploy their pets to overwhelm the squad, with Himari and her sister Azuma Yachiho suffering the worst during the showdown.
