HUGtto! PreCure: Season 1 (2018)

The HUGtto! PreCure team consists of three main members: Hugtan, who can transform into Cure Yell, has the ability to create powerful energy blasts and heal others; Aoi Kotozume, who transforms into Cure Ange, possesses the power of flight and can manipulate light; and Saaya Yakushiji, who becomes Cure Etoile, has the ability to create barriers and enhance her teammates' powers. Each member's abilities reflect their personalities and growth throughout the series.

The main antagonists are the Nega-Monsters, led by the villainous group known as the 'Nega-World.' Their primary motivation is to steal Hugtan's power to create a world devoid of happiness. Each Nega-Monster has their own backstory and reasons for their actions, often stemming from feelings of jealousy or a desire for revenge against those who have wronged them. Hana, the protagonist who transforms into Cure Yell, starts as an optimistic and energetic girl with a strong desire to help others. As the series progresses, she faces various challenges that test her resolve and leadership skills. Her character development is marked by moments of self-doubt, particularly when she feels she has let her friends down. However, through her experiences and the support of her teammates, she learns the importance of perseverance and teamwork, ultimately growing into a confident leader.

Hugtan, the baby who is central to the plot, represents hope and the future. She possesses the ability to bring happiness and is pursued by the villains, the Nega-Monsters, who seek to steal her power. Hugtan's presence motivates the HUGtto!
