What is the plot?

What is the ending?

The ending of Kiss, Kiss! is a rushed happy resolution: Tomek reaches Ola at the church, stops her wedding to Kristian, and runs off with her. At the same time, Kristian is exposed, the marriage is prevented from being formally completed, and the other major characters are pushed into new arrangements that match their real feelings.

Tomek and Ola have already spent the night together before the wedding, and by the end he is desperate to stop her from marrying Kristian. Ola has found out who kidnapped Tomek, goes to see her father, and asks him to release Tomek; in exchange, she promises she will go through with the marriage to Kristian. Smyra agrees and Tomek is freed, but the wedding is still only hours away.

Tomek does not waste time. He races to the church and arrives just as Ola and Kristian are about to kiss. He interrupts the ceremony and declares that Kristian does not truly love Ola. Chaos breaks out in the church, and Tomek leaves with Ola on a bus.

After that, Tomek sends a video to Patsy showing Kristian kissing the church boy. He uses the video as leverage and sets three conditions: the marriage must never be registered, Smyra must be released, and Kosecki must step down as president. Those demands are accepted.

Kristian's fate is that the wedding is stopped, his image is exposed, and he ends up with the person he actually loves, the church boy. Ola's fate is that she does not marry Kristian and instead leaves with Tomek. Smyra is also reconciled with Ola by the end. Tomek gets what he wants, and the film closes with the couples separated from the false arrangements and matched with the people they really want.

Scene by scene, the ending plays out like this:

  • Ola learns Tomek has been kidnapped and goes to her father to bargain for his release.

  • At the moment of the kiss, Tomek enters and openly challenges the wedding.
  • He takes Ola away as the ceremony collapses into confusion.
  • On the bus, Tomek sends the compromising video of Kristian.
  • The blackmail forces the other side to accept his terms.
  • Kristian's sham marriage ends, and he is left free to be with the man he actually loves.
  • Ola leaves the wedding behind and ends the story away from Kristian, with Tomek.
  • Smyra and Ola reconcile by the end.

Who are the main characters in Kiss, Kiss! and how are Tomek and Janek different from each other?

Tomek is the relentless womanizer who pursues Ola, while Janek is his brother, who is much more timid and wants less chaos in his life. The story repeatedly contrasts Tomek's reckless confidence with Janek's more reluctant, uncomfortable reactions, especially once they are forced back into the same space.

Why is Ola marrying Kristian, and what kind of relationship does she have with her father, Don Smyra?

Ola is engaged to Kristian and is on the verge of marrying him, even though her heart is not fully in the wedding. Don Smyra is revealed to be her father, the gangster who abandoned her years earlier, and that fractured family history becomes a major force in the story.

How does Tomek end up involved with Ola’s wedding, and what role does Kristian play in the story?

Tomek becomes involved because he is determined to win Ola's heart even though she is about to marry Kristian. Kristian is not simply a romantic rival; he is also part of a marriage that is shown to be fake or duty-driven, and his presence at the altar is tied to family pressure and image rather than genuine love.

What happens when Tomek and Janek are kidnapped by Don Smyra, and why does Smyra release Tomek?

Tomek and Janek are kidnapped by Don Smyra, who is connected to Ola's family and eventually becomes central to the conflict. Ola goes to her father, asks him to free Tomek, and promises that she will marry Kristian, which leads Smyra to keep his word and release Tomek.

How does Tomek stop the wedding between Ola and Kristian, and what specific leverage does he use?

Right as the bride and groom are about to kiss, Tomek arrives at the church, declares that Kristian is not truly in love with Ola, and carries Ola away in the middle of the ceremony. He then sends a video to Patsy showing Kristian kissing the church boy, and uses that as leverage to force three conditions: the marriage must never be registered, Smyra must be released, and Kosecki must step down as president.
