Kamakura is an ancient capital alongside Kyoto and Nara. Surrounded by mountains and the sea and rich in nature, Kamakura is a tourist city visited by many people. We visit cats living in Kamakura, the capital of the samurai class. We also meet the cats of Enoshima, a very popular spot in Shonan. Kaze and Sora, the cats that are the signboards of a teahouse on the Tenen hiking course, are gentle cats that love their owners. A squirrel appears in front of Hana-chan at a quiet café-gallery in Kitakamakura. Momo-chan at Jomyo-ji Temple in the Kamakura Gozan Mountains is popular with worshippers. On Enoshima Island, the conversation between two cats is heartwarming, and in the forest she encounters a group of black-and-white cats.
